2017 - Day 264/101 - Thursday...

It was an early day, and it has been a long day...not just for me and Jody, but also for our friends Joe Mac and Carolyn who arrived late this afternoon for a long-weekend visit. They live on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, and the usual 9 hour drive took about 11 or 12 hours today. It seems there was a wreck when they were trying to cross the Sabine River, and it took them a couple hours to cross the river. They would go five or ten feet every ten minutes. But they made it safely and we just got back from a late dinner at the Crossroads Cafe. Good times with good friends! When I was out checking my meters this afternoon, this attractive set of clouds appeared, and I hope you enjoy it. I had an early appointment this morning and it took an hour and a half to get there. Made it back home by eleven. Three hours round trip and an hour or so to meet with the client and get the paper work signed. Jody had an appointment at 12:15, so that all worked out nicely. We got back home at about 3, but that pretty much accounts for the whole day. I have a couple things to do tomorrow; meeting, class, participate in a short video, office, hair cut. Deeds, Actions, Changes, GOOD FRIENDS, Kindnesses, Whirled Peas, FUN!
