Today was a very full day at the Austin Board of REALTORS® Realty Roundup, the largest real estate trade show in the Hill Country. Who knows, it might be the biggest in the state, but I hesitate to go there. Anyway, this years event was really well done, and there were lots of our colleagues going throughout the show beginning at 8AM this morning, and continuing through about 5:30 this afternoon. I baled out about twenty minutes past five. I was honored to start the event, and I was the MC for the opening sessions, going from about 8:30 until 10AM. Then at the lunch hour and preceding Dr. Jim Gaines from the Texas A&M Real Estate Center, the officers of the board hosted a quick forum and had some electronic interaction with the assembled agents. We asked yes, no or uncertain questions, and the audience could respond via a text message so we could see the responses in real time. Interesting.
