Volume 17 - Day 261/104, 2025 - Thursday

Call it a sign of the times, but I feel extra militant today. Kind of like I am reliving the '70s. There was a quip in the newspaper today: In 1975, newspaper heiress Patricia Hearst was captured by the FBI in San Francisco, 19 months after being kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army. Does anybody reading this remember all that stuff? Not 100% sure she was really kidnapped, and she adopted the name Tania while she was 'held,' and my friend Patrick made 'FREE TANIA' t-shirts. It was interesting back then, and it is getting really interesting now. I don't have a notion where this is going, but I am pretty sure it will be really interesting. I did a bunch of running around today. I trip in to Trader Joe's in Austin, a trip in to Cedar Park and then another trip in to Austin. I think there will only be one trip to Austin tomorrow, and I need to get two things accomplished in that one trip. Fingers crossed. It was kind of like old times, driving most of the day. I have been well fed tonight, my neighbor Gina brought me meatloaf, mashed potatoes and fried cucumbers. I think they were cucumbers. Whatever they were, they were delicious and there is enough left for two more dinners. Anybody know of any good demonstrations going on in the next few days? PS: My opinions are mine, you don't have to agree, I still like you.
