Volume 17 - Day 352/13, 2025 - Thursday

Well, another day has come and gone, and it was relatively busy for someone who did very little of anything for most of the day! Of course, it was a good morning for a walk, and the weather was lovely. It was a beautiful, sunny day today, blue skies, a blue that you can only see in central Texas. Okay. This evening was a very nice gathering of a bunch of friends on (what is now called) Lady Bird Lake. It was a great day for a boat ride, and I think everyone had a good time. We got to see the Trail of Lights from the water, and looking at the Austin skyline from the river is always interesting. We had really good brisket, sausage and chicken, with the appropriate sides, and chocolate cake that was really good. The girl dogs assumed that I had abandoned them and that they would never have another bite of food, but they think that a lot and I always prove them wrong. It is way past my bedtime, so this is the end of this entry. Thanks to Gina for the photo!
