Volume 17 - Day 350/15, 2025 - Tuesday

It warmed up some today, but still a little bit chilly. Walking was good, and then Richard and Rick and I met for the ROMEO breakfast. After breakfast, I stopped at HEB and bought stuff that will last me for a while, and the girls have enough food to last them for a while, too. When I got home, I started taking plants out of the garage and the dining room, and there are no more freezing temps forecast for the foreseeable future. I am not convinced that will actually happen, because this is central Texas, and stuff happens when you least expect it. Jimmie and Linda stopped over about 6, and we rode around and looked at the lights in the neighborhood, and then it was time for book club. We had a good book club get together, and picked our book for next month, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. I finished reading Nobody's Girl today, so I am ready for some lighter reading. Tomorrow, I have a couple errands to run, including one that will take me in to Austin, and the girls are going to the beautiful parlor. They don't know it yet, so it will be a surprise.
