Well, I left on a Tuesday and I returned on a Tuesday. I'm just glad I don't have an office to go in to in the morning. Many of the people I was in Antarctica with were scheduled to go to work today. I left Buenos Aires last night at about 10PM. We made it to Houston this morning, maybe even a little earlier than scheduled. I went through customs, retrieved my luggage (maybe not in that order), checked in, put my luggage back in to the checked luggage place, and headed to the gate. The plane from Houston to Austin was not even close to being full...maybe not even half full. My entire row, not just my side of the row, was empty except for me. I am thinking of working myself into a complex about no roommate, no one next to me on planes...you know, just a general, all encompassing complex. Paulina was at the airport in Austin when I got out of that baggage claim, and we stopped at her house to pick up the girls. Everyone is settled in, I emptied the suitcases, and will finish putting stuff in its' proper place tomorrow. I did make a stop at the bank this afternoon, and a stop at HEB, so I am pretty set. I have had a couple texts from Lisa and Hanna, they are, as last reported, stuck in Ushuaia. They were to take a bus to Chile to pick up a camper van, and the bus keeps delaying the departure. It will all work out, and they will be having more adventures in their travels. As for me, I am getting ready to publish this entry, and then I will retire to the big chair with a couple girls, and that will most likely be it for tonight. Photo: I saw this guy n the airport last night, and when he was walking down the aisle of the plane, I told him I just wanted a picture of the shirt. Perfect. I edited the photo, but the photo has the biggest laugh on his face, fantastic!Tuesday, November 18, 2025
