Volume 17 - Day 246/119, 2025 - Wednesday

The wifi on this train sucks, so I am going to do this as quickly as I can, taking advantage of my phone hot spot. I met some nice people in Chicago today, Jack and Jeannie, from Charleston. I got on the train heading south this afternoon, and we just had a LONG stop in St. Louis, not sure if that was intentional or not, but we are moving again, and it is really dark outside. Even the construction cranes in St. Louis are lit up, and that is kind of interesting. The car I am in is two stories, my room is on the second floor. Lot of interesting stuff to see. We went through Toledo this morning, which is about 40 miles from where I grew up in Michigan. It is interesting to see architecture and home styles that remind me of where I grew up. It is also much more industrial. Lots of smoke stacks and manufacturing. I will be back in central Texas tomorrow evening, so if you need anything, let me know!
