Volume 17 - Day 262/103, 2025 - Friday

I am happy to report that I have seen hummers a few times today, and they either have not headed south for the season, or the ones I have seen are laggers. I'm going with the initial, and I am just glad they are still around. I had a couple chores to get taken care of today: First, the walk of course, then I went (with no appointment) to get some blood drawn, just to appease my doctor. After that, I was off in to Austin, and had a couple stops there. On the way home, I was going to stop in Georgetown to get some scones at Galaxy Bakery, but I decided I had plenty of stuff for the next several breakfasts. I am surprised that the results of the blood tests have not been sent back to me yet, they are usually pretty efficient with those test results. I was supposed to attend a 2 o'clock meeting, but all the participants (two out of three) had conflicts, so that meeting is going to be rescheduled for sometime next week. Tomorrow will be a platelet day, and I always like that. Marian and I hit three estate sales this afternoon (since my meeting was cancelled). I bought a few dollars worth of stuff, Marian bought nothing. Whatever...
