There were only two of us at the ROMEO breakfast, but my breakfast tasted extra good this morning. Not sure why, it was the same thing I order every Tuesday when the ROMEOs meet. Omelet with Swiss cheese, bacon and mushroons. Side of bacon. No potatoes or hash browns. Side of spinach and onions. Sour dough toast with jam. The same thing every Tuesday. I saw someone with avocado on their toast this morning, and I am considering a deviation from my order next week. We shall see. After breakfast, I hung out at the Curious House until it was time to go get Paulina and take her to an appointment. Then it was back to the Curious House. My neighbor Gina brought me a HUGE piece of steak at some point last week (the week before?) and I finally finished it tonight. Dee-lish-ous. My spell check is going a little crazy right now. I have mentioned before that, we were overrun with voles last year, and this year we have bunnies. I don't think we are overrun with bunnies, but they are around, and I will take those over the voles any day. So far, the bunnies have not crawled up the down spouts and chewed through any of the electric wiring, that is a win. Also, there have been no swifts this year either. Interesting pattern changes. I have one zoom meeting tomorrow afternoon, and it should not be a terribly long meeting. Overall, all is good.Tuesday, September 16, 2025
