Volume 17 - Day 74/291, 2025 - Saturday

After yesterday, I got very little accomplished today. We did not even walk this morning. Shortly after I got up, I heard a couple rumbles of thunder, but I did not see any lightning. My weather alert said there was lightning in the area, but I did not see it. But, that was enough to cancel the walk, so I went back down and took a nap. We all took off for estate sales at 9:30, and there were four sales. I bought a few things, but the sales themselves were pretty underwhelming. For the rest of the day, mostly, I did little of anything. Paulina sent an email with all our flight and hotel schedules for June, and that is pretty exciting. Val and Oliver came over about 5 and we went to dinner in Georgetown, and then we took a ride over to Parkside on the River, where the Parkway will connect later this year, and we will have a straight show from Highway 29 to CR 2243. Then, maybe we will get a traffic light at the Parkway and 29. Tomorrow I have been invited to go with Jimmie and Linda for brunch, and then I am planning a trip to Costco and Home Depot. That should pretty much take care of the day.
