When I predicted yesterday that today was going to be a long day, I was correct. It could have been longer, but I took off after my particular part was done. I have not been up at 4AM recently, but I was today. I left the Curious House at about 6:30 because you never know what traffic calamities you might face. Traffic was heavy, but I made it to the meeting point in plenty of time, and we took a bus to the Capitol. Today was REALTOR® day, retired state school teachers day, pharmacists day and a day for an unnamed group of pre-teens. I ran in to my pharmacist Jeff and his son, so that was interesting. I saw all the folks with white jackets on, but I thought it was loony-bin day, and I was trying not to draw any attention to myself. I did get home about 2 o'clock, and went down for a nap. I had a chicken pot pie for dinner, and I wish I had ordered pizza instead. We have our fingers crossed for some rain this evening, and off and on rain chances through Friday. There has been less than a quarter inch of rain at the Curious House this month, so we really need the rain. The rest of the week should be quiet, and that is always welcome. The photo accompanying this entry is on my bestie Holly and me, just outside the Capitol, getting ready to go inside and take care of business.
