Today makes three days in a row that I have not gone out of the house except to walk this morning, take the girls outside and check the mail. That is a lie, I also cleaned and refilled the hummingbird feeders and used the grass blower to clean oak tossles off the back patio and the deck. I will go out later to clean the tossles off the front patio and driveway, later. I should really try to get out more, for example, for dinner tonight I had donut holes and (cold) pizza. I have some chicken pot pies in the freezer, but taking time to heat them up is kind of like cooking, and I am not a cook. I did get everything in to the CPA yesterday (or maybe this morning), and my taxes are done, and they will be filed early next week, fingers crossed before Tuesday. All I need to do now is sign via DocuSign and write a check. It could be worse. Sadly, someone I recently met in the neighborhood was killed in a motorcycle/truck wreck. He was a captain (I think) with the Georgetown Fire Department, and it is a very sad thing for his family and friends. I only met him once, and he was a very nice guy. No estate sales in the morning, I will be going to an open house at a very good friends house, and I need to leave the Curious House at about 10:15 or 10:30. I saw this Mexican Whistling Tree duck across the street from the Curious House when I was finishing our walk this morning. I never heard (see what I did there) of them before we had the place in Red Rock, but they are really interesting. I am glad to see them by the Curious House. I think the silhouette is really pretty cool.
