Volume 17 - Day 113/252, 2025 - Wednesday

We got almost an inch of rain overnight...0.96" to be exact, according to my gauge in the back yard. It did not start until 2 o'clock or so in the morning, and it is nice to have received that much rain. We are hoping for more, sooner than later, and we can take what we can get. It was a good morning for a walk, me, Paul and Richard. After the walk, I did not do much, I am finishing the book for book club tomorrow, and I still have a couple chapters to go. It will all work out okay! I have a few trips planned between now and the New Year, and we are now working on another cruise in February or March. I think that will be another blast, this time we are planning to head Jamaica and Grand Cayman before going back to Cozumel and the Mayan Riviera. I had dinner tonight with Dick and Marge. We went to an Italian restaurant in Liberty Hill, auditioning restaurants for the May Supper Club meeting. Tomorrow will be pretty calm, I have a zoom meeting at 4 o'clock, and that is about it until book club. This little troll village was something I saw last week when I was taking photos of the poppy's in Georgetown. Very cute, and 100% Georgetown!
