Volume 17 - Day 111/254, 2025 - Monday

I am living a relatively quiet life these days, I don't go in to the office, and many days I don't even go anywhere. Not that there is anything wrong with that! It was chilly this morning when we did our walk, about 61 degrees as I recall. I did water the plants in the back, and rolled the hose up, because today is grass cutting day. As I write this, the lawn guy just left about 20 minutes ago, so everything is right on schedule. Last week when I went to HEB, I bought three of the prepared dinners, and I had the last one tonight. I don't have a lack of food in the house, so I am in no danger of starving. It is supposed to get warmer and more humid overnight, and we will have our ROMEO breakfast tomorrow morning, and I have a doctors appointment early afternoon. There is a zoom call scheduled at 3, and I have a couple calls to make in the morning, so I have a few things to do. Today is also the girl's anniversary...on this date in 2017, Jody and I adopted them from the Georgetown Shelter. The Piglet (Lexie) took an immediate liking to Jody, and Callie adopted me. Eight years. Wow!
