Well, my visit to the Cardiologist was unremarkable this afternoon, and I walked out with another appointment for another test in a month. The highest calcium level they like to see is 400, and my level was/is 1057. I assume I am just an over-achiever. So, in a little over a month, I will have a 'Nuclear Procedure.' Another way to describe it is a 'Nuclear Medicine Stress Test.' I have six pages of instructions and dos and don'ts. Way too much stuff. Whatever. On a better note, if I do a this-and-that, I can start giving platelets again, and I am really happy about that. Most all my friends think I'm an idiot, and they are not wrong, but I want to do it, so I will do as I'm told to be allowed to give platelets every two weeks. It was a good morning for a walk, and we had a good ROMEO breakfast. My victim today was very nice, she was there with her daughter, and she taught me a couple words in Japanese that I didn't know. The only words I know in Japanese are as a result of a mini-series about two or three decades ago, so it never hurts to learn new things. My fingers are crossed for a little rain over the next few days, and even if we get just a little bit, it will be appreciated.Tuesday, April 22, 2025
