Volume 17 - Day 117/248, 2025 - Sunday

Today was a pretty good day, I got a few things done. It was a good morning for a walk, it would have been a better day if we had some rain, but you can't always have everything. After walking and breakfast, I laid around the house and did some this-and-that, and then hit two estate sales that I had been to yesterday. I got a MahJong set at one, and a piece of art. Between sales, I stopped at a local nursery, and bought two milk weed plants (they only had two), and I even got them planted. I used a shovel and everything, and one hole was easy to dig, the other hole is about three inches of dirt before the limestone. But, they are in the dirt! At the second sale, I got (yet) another clock (it was half-off). You never know about clocks at estate sales, but recently, clocks from estate sales have been working. While I was watching Sixty Minutes, I got a text from my neighbors that the put a plate of ribs and fries at my front door. OMG, it was a delicious dinner, and I have enough left for at least one more dinner. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment to donate platelets, and I am very happy about that. I am trying my best to get back in the groove of stuff I enjoyed doing, and that is one of them. I continue to proclaim that I am a very lucky man!
