Volume 17 - Day 195/170, 2025 - Monday

Even though I 'sort of' retired on January 1st, I kind of think of today as my first real day of retirement. As of today, I don't have an office in Austin anymore. Carrie and I still 'have' the office, but it is leased out to another business (effective date tomorrow), and I won't be stopping by just for this or that. Plus, I am associated with another real estate company in Austin, and they have an office I can go to if needed, but I don't think it will be terribly often. I basically have everything I need to run my 'down sized' real estate business from the Curious House, and that is perfectly fine with me. I may actually be turning in to a miniature Schnauzer or a Malti-Poo, I'm not sure. Pretty much all I have done all day is to sleep with the girls, and I am pretty sure they don't mind me being here, they get lots of pets and cuddles. I was conscious for a quick zoom meeting this morning, and that was good. I also did a whole walk this morning, and that was good, and so far we have not had any more rain, but there is a possibility for some going in to the evening. My neighbor Gina brought me a home made chicken pot pie this afternoon. I have not eaten any of it yet, but it smells really good! She is on the cusp of spoiling me, and that is perfectly okay with me. Tomorrow will be the ROMEO Breakfast, which I have missed for several weeks, and I will probably take some stuff out of the house to storage. Wednesday, I have an appointment in Austin, so I will get about three or four things off my to do list while I am there. Life is good.
