Volume 17 - Day 196/169, 2025 - Tuesday

I think it is pretty interesting that, other than walking in the mornings, I have not left the Curious House for the last couple of days. Okay, I have gone outside with the girls, and I have gone to check the mail on both days, but that is it. Tomorrow, I will have a couple chores to take care of in Austin, so that will be an adventure. I am also looking in to volunteer opportunities in the Georgetown area. I used to deliver Meals on Wheels, but not sure that is still a good fit for me. I will find something. In the meantime, naps are frequent, and there is lots of food that I have been consuming. I need to work on the balance. I was chastised by the Georgetown Water Department, accused of watering outside the parameters they have laid out. Actually, I am watering according to the schedule, but one of the watering periods starts late in the evening and goes into the next day. SO...even though it makes me nervous as a cat, I think I have successfully adjusted the start time so that should not happen again. Time will tell. There was no more rain today, and I don't really think there is any more rain in the seven day forecast. It is what it is, and we will cope with whatever we get.
