Volume 17 - Day 201/164, 2025 - Sunday

I don't think the sun was visible at all today, not sure, but if it was, it was early this morning. Paul and I had a good walk, and after that and a little breakfast, we settled in to watch Sunday Morning. Before I did anything else, I potted a sweet potato vine that one of my neighbors brought me yesterday, and I think it is going to become happily rooted in its' new pot. I decided to go to the two estate sales I didn't go to yesterday, and did not buy anything. That was okay, it was a nice ride out in to the country, places I drove to regularly when Jody and I lived in the country. When I got home, I did a little of this-and-that, but nothing overwhelming. I think tomorrow, I will go in to Austin and investigate some volunteer opportunities, starting with the blood bank. I already feel comfortable there, I already know many of the people there, so I think it will be a good fit. I am thinking I could volunteer two days a week, maybe one in Austin and one at an organization in Georgetown. I used to do Meals on Wheels, but not sure if I want to go that way right now, but I will think about it.
