Volume 17 - Day 205/160, 2025 - Thursday

I love it when nature defies all the odds and wins out. This pretty flower is growing from a little bit of an expansion joint in the middle of one of Moe and Yo's (pronounced Jo) garage doors. I did not notice it yesterday, but there it was this morning during our walk. I'm not sure how I could have missed it until today, but I did. After the walk, I had a nice o'clock zoom meeting, and then I chilled out for a while before my 1 o'clock dentist appointment. I thought today would be my last day of all the major stuff I am in the middle of, but no, at least two more appointments. Things are seeming to go a lot slower than they used to, but it is okay. I have another appointment in three weeks, and then at least one more before I get on the twice a year routine. After the dentist, I went and got a pizza and some cheese bread at Little Cesar's. I should have gone to Domino's, but I thought Little Cesar's could use the money more than Domino's. I am kind of disappointed with my craving crashing. Dang it! So, not a lot more to talk about, I have only one appointment tomorrow, and nothing much planned for the weekend. Paulina is coming over tomorrow afternoon and we will go somewhere and have dinner. Val will be working, not sure if Oliver will be joining us or not. It hit 100 degrees here in central Austin, the first time this month, and the first time since May. It has been a relatively mild summer season, and I have no problems with that. There may actually be a little bit more rain over the weekend, fingers crossed.
