Volume 18 - Day 27/338, 2026 - Tuesday

I am too old to let myself be inconvenienced by first world problems. Okay, having said that, this week (all two days of it) have been a series of inconsequential inconveniences. Ugh. For the second day in a row, the plumbers did not show up to fix/replace the garbage disposal, so the new plan is to go to Homo Depot and buy a disposal, and install it myself (no laughing) over the weekend. It will not be the first garbage disposal I have replaced in my storied life, but I really do not have any pent up urges to wallow all over the kitchen floor to replace the garbage disposal. It could be worse. I went to the bank this morning at 11:20. The time is only important because the bank did not open (today) until noon. Another inconvenience. That makes two. Okay, so there were only two inconveniences today, but it felt like more. Later in the afternoon, Marian, Paulina and I took off to Austin to donate platelets. My goal is to fill the Buzz up with peeps to go donate platelets. I just need three more people. It's always more fun when you have needles stuck in your veins with friends. I kind of have a feeling there is a walk in my near future, and I have an appointment in Austin at 9:15 in the morning. Kind of early, but...
