Volume 17 - Day 153/212, 2025 - Monday

It seems like I've been here a lto longer than a little over 24 hours. Today was a pretty quiet day, Opening Session, a couple other interesting sessions, and saying hello to friends from across the country that I don't see often enough. At about 5:30, I attended the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and it was fun. There was a piece of tape on the carpet with my name on it, my 'mark.' That may be the first time I had my name in tape stuck to the floor of anywhere. After that, I was invited to a nice dinner, there are nothing but nice dinners in DC. There was a fire at the Westin across the street this afternoon, on the fifth and sixth floors, and the place was evacuated. I know a couple people who were staying on the fourth floor, but don't know if they are still there or not. Tomorrow, I am planning to go to the NAR Building, then lunch, and then maybe a little shopping at Fahrney's. You never know. No telling what might be on the schedule tomorrow night.
