Volume 17 - Day 157/208, 2025 - Friday

We are all getting back into our normal schedules, and the girls are doing a better job of it than I am. But, really, all they do is eat, sleep and go outside to pee. It's just a little bit more complicated for me. The day started out, as usual, with a walk; me, Richard, James and Paul. After the walk, I got a little bit motivated and went in to the office, just to make sure my desk was still there. It was. On the way, I stopped at What-A-Burger for some breakfast, because I need to have some food in me before I give platelets. (See two sentences ahead of this.) I had two biscuit sandwiches, but just are the egg and sausage, not the biscuits. Perfectly okay. After the visit, I headed to make my first platelet donation for the month, and today I did platelets and plasma. I'm happy about that. On the way home, I made a couple stops; one to Office Depot and one to HEB. The milk that was left in the refrigerator has an expiration date of June 3rd and June 4th. This is just the 6th, so those partial bottles are still perfectly good. Tomorrow morning should be a little bit busy. After the walk, there are six estate sales to hit, and nobody knows yet what I may find that I cannot live without.
