Volume 17 - Day 162/213, 2025 - Sunday

Okay, it is officially the first day of June, and we are almost half-way through this year already. THe train got in to DC a few minutes early, just before 1PM. I had a good breakfast on the way, and got an Uber to the hotel. I got checked in, and met Melinda and Nancy, and it was pretty much a family reunion. I got back to my room and took a little bit of a nap, before I went to a reception at 5:30, and I did not stay long, just long enough to say hi to a bunch of friends, and then I wlaked back to the hotel. From the hotel to the reception was not far, supposedly just a 12 minute walk. Well, on the way there, I got a little confused, but finally found it, I just went a couple blocks out of the way. The same thing thing happened on the way back to the hotel, nothing terrible. I met Melinda, Nancy, Tobetha and Ben for dinner, and we all had a great time. My first meeting in the morning is at 8:30, and it is definitely time for me to get some sleep. The weather is great here, low 70s during the day and cooler at night. Not sure what it will be like the rest of the week.
