Volume 17 - Day 288/77, 2025 - Wednesday

I consider the wifi service at the Curious House to be good and reliable. I have been here five years, and it has failed a time or two, but nothing really worth complaining abut. My first zoom call today was about what to expect on my Antarctic trip coming up in about two weeks. During the zoom, my wifi failed TWICE. I think I got most of it, and the tour peeps will send a copy of the meeting in the next couple days, so I will watch that a few times before the trip. I had another zoom call after that one, and there were no problems at all! As usual, the day started with a good walk, and I eventually got up and took a couple checks to the post office. Tax checks for the farm. I just take stuff like that to the post office, just to know that I got them in the mail. The vet called me this afternoon, and gave me the results of the girls (everyone at the vets office refers to them as 'the kiddos') blood work, and they are both doing well for their ages. After that call, he called back and asked what I would want them to do if something bad happened while they were anesthetized next week. I answered the question, but I am not feeling good about that possibility. Tomorrow, they have appointments at the beautiful parlor, so they will look all pretty for their dental work next week.
