Volume 17 - Day 301/64, 2025 - Tuesday

Ugh. I bent over this morning to pick up the girls bowls and threw out my back. It has happened in stranger ways that that, but I can't believe it. If it is not better by Friday, I will call the chiropractor. Can a chiropractor help with a bad back? Whatever. It was a big day for phone calls today. I spoke with ADT about when a light was flashing on both the key pads, I spoke with the newspaper people about why they said I owe them money, and I spoke with my insurance agent about plans going forward with Medicare (Part Whatever). ADT fixed something on their end, so the lights have quit flashing. The newspaper people credited my account, and the insurance agent basically just confused me. I think I settled on keeping everything the same, and expecting a rate increase of about 18% next year. At least that is what I think happened. My neighbor Gina sent me (via Billy) a great big delicious salad for dinner. I still have enough for at least one more dinner, maybe two. Okay, one. We had a cold front come through today, dry and cool. Right now it is 68 degrees outside, and I have windows open. I love having windows open. I only have about 10 more items on my list to get done before my trip, and they are pretty easy things to get done. So far, I am just piling stuff up on the bed on one of the guest rooms...it is working for me, it just doesn't look very pretty.
