Volume 17 - Day 296/69, 2025 - Thursday

The local weather prognosticators are practically guaranteeing that we will have rain late tomorrow evening and into the morning on Saturday, ending about 7 or 8 o'clock Saturday morning. I am going to turn the sprinklers off, which I expect will jinx any rain that was expected at the Curious House, and that is but one of my many talents! It was a good walk this morning, but it was warmer than I would like, and really humid. I am making a little bit of progress getting ready for my trip...ten days from now, but I still have ten days, so I can cover a lot of territory in ten days. The girls are doing just fine, I am giving them their pills right on schedule. They have one more pill for today, at 10 o'clock. I am pretty sure I will still be coherent at 10 o'clock, but you never can tell. Tonight was our Neighbors Dinner, and we went to the Walburg Restaurant...October Fest and all... There was a private party going on in the back, and my friend Avis was there. So...for about three minutes, we got to see each other and I got a good hug out of the deal. I miss seeing her A LOT. Do you hear that, Avis?
