Volume 17 - Day 298/67, 2025 - Saturday

We did get rain overnight, but so far no more during the late morning or afternoon. There is gossip that we might have more at the Curious House later this evening, and I hope that will be the case. I emptied 1.39" of rain out of the gauge (and that was the Wordle for today as well), and I hope to record more later tonight. Judy and I went to two estate sales today, she bought a couple things, I bought nothing. To be fair, there was something I noted that I wanted when I previewed the sale, so I went on Thursday, and bought it, so I guess that counts as one thing. After the estate sale, I did not do a lot. I am about to get serious and make sure I have everything done for my trip to Antarctica. Flights, airport transfers, hotel rooms, proper clothing, stuff. I still have ten days, so I think I still have plenty of time. The girls are doing fine, I will keep giving them their pills until they run out, but they are not having any issues after their visit to the vet last week. For some reason, I am watching the beginning of a football game on tv, and they are in Michigan, and they are all wearing heavy winter coats. I am just kind of proud that I don't have the air conditioner running. Different strokes...
