Volume 17 - Day 303/62, 2025 - Thursday

It was in the 40s when I got up this morning, Dick and I did a short walk, I am not wanting to push the envelope with my back right now. I found out something absolutely terrible today; if you hurt your back, you should NOT use a heating pad on it, you should use an ice pack. Who ever heard of such a thing? Well, I have, now, and I don't like it! After walking, I had a few chores to do; I went to HEB twice, got my hair cut, and had a chiropractor appointment. More bad news; HEB is no longer selling Thanksgiving turkey dinners, so tomorrow, I will order my dinner from Costco. AND...you have to order the dinner on-line. After that, there were naps and this-and-that, and then a bunch of us from the Curious House neighborhood went in to Austin and attended a show at the ConcertDome. It was a Halloween theme, Dome of the Dead. It was my second time at the Dome, and I enjoyed it both times. It is good (IMHO) to kind of promote local musicians and local artists. The Dome is similar to the Sphere in Las Vegas, but smaller in stature, but not less professionally done. I think this should be a quarterly thing for me. They have one more night at this location, and then they will more to a new location, and they will open again on November 21st. If I'm not there on that night, maybe I will be there on Thanksgiving Eve, we will see. But it was fun, and a TREPAC event at the same time.
