Volume 17 - Day 295/70, 2025 - Wednesday

Oh, Lort! I got the girls to the vet this morning right on time, and I went and picked them up at 3:30. They are not happy, I am frustrated, it's all a mess. They are wearing cones, they are still kind of groggy, Lexie is less groggy than Callie. They have three different prescriptions to take, some twice a day, some three times a day, some for seven days, some for ten days. I had to make myself a chart just to try and keep it all coordinated. They got half of their normal amount of food tonight, and they both ate, there were no problems with that, and I think that is a good sign. I am just a little bit stressed, trying to make sure I do all the stuff that needs to be done. Don't forget, I am retired, so I am not supposed to have responsibilities. Other than getting the girls to and from, I did very little of anything else, and I have no plans to be doing anything else for the rest of the night. Tomorrow I have an afternoon appointment, and the neighborhood dinner is tomorrow night, and that is always fun. That is it for this entry...
