Okee-Dokee then... Today turned out to be kind of a full day of stuff. I only did half a walk this morning, because I needed to be in Austin at 10:15. Paulina and I are doing platelets together now, so we had our appointments at 10:15. I left the house about 9 o'clock and went to pick her up, and we got to Austin with a little extra time, so we stopped at Upper Crust for take-home cinnamon rolls. I set for breakfast for the next couple days, anyway. After platelets, I made it home in time to take a quick nap, and I was surprised that we got a nice little afternoon rain, about four-tenths of an inch, and we will take what we can get. After that, a bunch of us went to the ConcertDome in Austin (kind of by the airport, Billy), and I rode with my neighbors Billy and Gina. It was fun, interesting, not as expansive as the Sphere in Vegas, but fun. The program tonight was Beatles on Strings, and I think we all enjoyed it. I'm (almost) always ready to try new things, and this one was fun. I was amazed a few times that four instruments (2 violins, a cello and a viola) could be so full of music. It was good, you should try it. Now, home, journaling and waiting on my pizza to finish in the toaster oven. I have a couple things on the schedule tomorrow, but it won't be as packed as today.Saturday, August 2, 2025
