Volume 17 - Day 220/145, 2025 - Friday

Yes, I am relatively certain that today is Friday, I figured that out yesterday. I had a couple bursts of energy today, and got the morning glory vines cut back, and what is left up in the tree are wilting and won't be a threat to the tree any longer. I expect I may need to cut the vines back one more time this year, but that is okay, I like the flowering of the morning glories. I did a couple other things around the Curious House today, registered for a meeting in Las Vegas for next February, and made a hotel reservation for that meeting. I will fly in to Las Vegas, and the plan will be to take the train back. Las Vegas to Denver to Kansas City to Austin is the route, I think. Oliver figured that out for me. This afternoon, Paulina and Oliver came over and we went in to Georgetown and had burgers, and he figured out the route home from Las Vegas on the train. I thought I might have to go from Las Vegas to Dallas and then to Austin, but the route Oliver found sounds more interesting. And, trains are all about interesting, in my opinion. The Piglet is not happy with me right now, she is never happy with me when she gets her face washed, but that is just the way it is. Today was another hundred degree day, our ninth of the year, compared with 32 last year of of this date. Honestly, we have had a pretty mild year, heat wise. We could use some more rain, but we can always use more rain.
