Volume 17 - Day 228/137, 2025 - Saturday

Even though it is Saturday, it has been kind of a busy day. I did half a walk this morning because I was scheduled to pick Paulina up at her house to go in to Austin for platelet donations. On the way, we stopped at Upper Crust just because we were in the neighborhood. I got cinnamon rolls and a piece of carrot cake, and Paulina got an apple cranberry pie and a cinnamon roll (I think). We both got our platelets done and I got home by about 1:30. I did go down for  nap, and I think maybe that lasted about 20 minutes. I went and picked up Paulina, Val and Oliver and we went to dinner at Maggiano's at the Domain. Very good, the calamari was excellent, and I had lasagna for the main course. No dessert, we all have plenty of dessert at home, plus Paulina sent me home with a piece of the pie. So, there is plenty of sweet stuff here for at least a couple days. No rain again, which is really disappointing, but there is alway September. Brunch tomorrow, then I may hit a couple estate sales after that. We will see.
