Volume 17 - Day 221/144, 2025 - Saturday

We (Marian, Diane and Paulina and I) hit five estate sales today. They were not particularly exciting, but I bought a few things. I don't think Paulina bought anything, and that is always kind of unusual. Usually, we all walk away with something. This morning, Mike sent me a photo of a print he had framed that we got while we were in Europe. That has motivated me to get my copy and one other print (from Paris) framed, but I was not motivated enough to drive in to the frame shop in Georgetown to start the process. That is likely something I will do Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I may check out estate sales this coming Friday or Sunday; Paulina and I are doing our platelet donations on Saturdays now, so we do that every two weeks or so. Are you following politics in Texas? It is just as bad as politics nationally, just more personal. Okay, well, I don't know how I cannot consider national politics personal, maybe the word I am searching for is, Texas politics are just more _________. Feel free to fill in the blank for me. Maybe more personal because I actually know some of our elected officials personally. I know for sure, I would be much better off if I could just turn off the news channels, and not pay attention, but it is all like a car wreck, and I just can't turn away from it.
