Volume 17 - Day 225/140, 2025 - Wednesday

We have a new walker with us...Jimmie joined me and Paul this morning, so that was fun. He is just a little bit concerned that we walk seven days a week, but I think he enjoyed the walk. The zoom meeting that was originally scheduled for this morning was cancelled yesterday, so that was good. The window washers were here just before 8, and they were here until about noon. All the windows, inside and outside, all the screens and the solar panels. All clean. After they left, I went and ran errands in Georgetown, but before I left, Gina called and said she was at Burger King, did I want anything? Whopper, minus pickles and tomatoes, cut in half. Please. I ate the fries (lagniappe) before I left to run errands, and I had the Whopper for dinner tonight. I took a couple prints to be framed, stopped at Galaxy Bakery, put gas in the little white car, and made a quick stop at Academy. Jimmie and Linda invited me down for bits and bites, and to watch the second installment of The Yogurt Shop Murders on HBO. Half-way done, two more episodes. Tomorrow the girls are going to the beautiful parlor, plus, I will set the trash and recycling at the curb tomorrow morning. These Queen butterflies look like Monarch's, but they aren't. They like milkweed (which I have planted and potted in the back and front), and they are plentiful. Fun seeing them, usually there at least a half-dozen in the back when I go out with the girls.
