Volume 17 - Day 231/134, 2025 - Tuesday

Neither one of the girls has ever shown any concern over thunder or lightning, but this afternoon, we were getting ready for a little storm, and the Piglet was not acting frightened, but she was acting oddly, and was very clingy. The three of us got in the big chair, and she calmed down. We got a little rain shower, a little bit of lightning, and a little bit of thunder. AND...a little bit of rain. 0.05" of rain, to be more accurate. It is still dribbling a little bit, but I doubt we get anything much more measurable. The only thing I accomplished today was, a little bit more work in the office, and a trip to the HEB. I had a variety of gift cards with a little bit of money on each one, so now I am down to only one gift card remaining, with a little bit of money remaining on it. Apparently, this journal entry is about a 'little bit' of a lot of things. I'm pretty impressed with this years' lemon crop. There are only three, but they seem to be ripening much earlier this year than they have in the past. I have a few things on the list for tomorrow, and I am even planning to take a quick class on Thursday.
