Well, for a little while, it looked as if we might get another rain shower this afternoon, but so far, nothing. Yesterday, we received 0.41", and to be honest, that was a real surprise. There was a little bit of a tease that we might get a little more, and the clouds looked promising off-and-on, but I guess it was just not meant to be. The clouds that are hanging around now are really pretty though, so that is worth a mention.It is a sign of the times I guess, but a sad one. I went to a luncheon meeting today, and the topic was 'Active Shooters', what to do if you or your office it the target. Not the most appealing luncheon topic, but as I said, it is topical and it needs to get out. Police, EMS and governmental agencies are trained, but generally, members of the public are not. I guess it is important that everyone have a plan, because the other side of this equation has a plan.
Dammit.
Okay, that is it for today, I am going to retire now to the blue chair, and turn on the tube. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Does everyone still call it the tube? There is no tube. Is there?
