Volume 17 - Day 123/242, 2025 - Saturday

It was in the 50s when I got up this morning, perfect weather for a nice walk...me, James, Paul and Richard. After the walk, I lounged around for a while, before we headed out for six estate sales. I did not buy anything until the fourth sale, but then I made up for lost time. AND...I paid full price! At the last sale, I did buy ANOTHER clock, $37.50, it is a very attractive art deco clock, and it works well, so that is good. I like it a lot when I buy clocks for cheap and I don't have to turn around immediately and take them to the clock shop to be repaired. Val, Paulina and Oliver came over late this afternoon, and we headed in to Georgetown for dinner. BBQ of course, and I had the two meat plate, much of which is now residing in the refrigerator, where it will be forgotten and ultimately discarded. Whatever. Brunch tomorrow morning at 10AM, and then I am going to hit one of the estate sales I was at today, there are a couple things I have my eye on that I did not want to pay full price for. Tomorrow will be half-price!
