Volume 17 - Day 127/238, 2025 - Wednesday

We had a good walk this morning, better than the afternoon walk we had yesterday after the rain. I added everything up, and we have had almost four inches of rain so far this month. I am happy about that, and I wish we could get good rains like that more often. After the walk this morning, I had a little bit of breakfast, and then got ready to go in to Austin for a 10 o'clock meeting. Some of you might know, my business partner Carrie and I divested ourselves of our property management portfolio as of January first, and we both associated ourselves with LIVE512 Realty in Austin. Two of the three principles of LIVE 512 are former agents of ours, and the Broker of Record was formerly affiliated with the Texas Real Estate Commission. Lots of good credentials with LIVE512. I am out of the property management business, which means I sleep through all the nights now (for the most part), and if peoples fences blow down, I am not the person they call. I made a couple stops after my meeting this morning, and got home about 2, and I had just enough time to get ready for my 2:30 phone call, which led to a 4 o'clock phone call. Now I think I am pretty much done for the day. Linda and Jimmie just called and gave me an excuse not to stress over the fact that there is nothing on television tonight, so I will be heading out with them for ice cream in just a few minutes.
