Volume 17 - Day 138/227, 2025 - Sunday

It was not quite as warm (less hot) this morning and less humid (I think) this morning as it was yesterday when we did our walk. It was, however, really warm, and really humid. After the walk, I did a quick nap, and at about 10 o'clock I got myself up and visited the estate sale that I had visited yesterday. There were still a few things that I spied yesterday, so I brought them home. It was 50% off day, and now I have ANOTHER clock and ANOTHER doll. The doll is particular creepy, but I like it a lot. Val and Paulina and Nancy and Dan were expected at about 1 o'clock, and we went to Walburg for lunch. The buffet is always good, and we all had a good time. After I got back home, I went down for another nap, and that is about all I have done today. I am pretty happy with this retirement gig thing! Tomorrow, I will go in to Austin to donate platelets, and make a couple stops on the way in. I guess at some point, I am going to have to get serious about not getting more clocks...but I guess I can study on that more tomorrow.
