Volume 17 - Day 149/216, 2025 - Thursday

There was no real storm here at the Curious House last night, we did get about a quarter-inch of rain, and no damage. Austin was not that lucky; there was lots of flooding (central Texas is flash-flood prone), one person died, and there are still thousands of people with no electricity. We should have some more rain overnight, possibility of strong storms, so I will just wait and see. If it happens, it will be after midnight. Local radar says the Curious House will be in the storms about 1AM until about 3AM or 4AM. I am not going to complain about rain, so long as there is no devastating damage. I did not walk this morning, since I had three doctors appointments beginning at 8AM. More IVs, this time with radioactive tracers used to evaluate heart function and blood flow. I don't just know that, I looked it up on Google. I am making the assumption that there is no immediate cause for concern, or the would have kept me. Basically, they said someone would call me, but they didn't say who or when. I actually think I will see the results on my 'patient portal.' UGH! Tonight was the neighborhood dinner, and there were sixteen of us, so that was a good crowd. This month, it was Italian, and mine was yummy. Not sure what it was, because I did not get what I ordered, but I did not want to wait for them to make what I ordered. I am just considering it to be the 'pasta surprise,' and that is okay with me.
