Volume 17 - Day 145/220, 2025 - Sunday

It was a good walk this morning, and after that I went to brunch with Alisha. I had considered going to Old Navy, but there is always tomorrow. I did do some touch-up painting on the fence...the guys that built the stone wall around the back flower bed got some concrete and grout on the fence, but you can't tell where that was now. I have been meaning to do that for the past couple weeks, and it is done now. I also got all the algae off the two water bowls in the back yard, so they look like someone (besides the birds and the other thirsty fauna) is paying attention. I guess doing that once or twice a season is not too bad. There is nothing on the schedule for tomorrow, but I may actually get out of the Curious House at some point, other than to take my morning walk. I may not actually do a walk in the morning, there is a pretty good chance that it will be raining in the mornings for the next couple days. I will gladly sacrifice the walking if we can get some rain. I was two days ago old when I realized that hostas bloomed. I don't know why I was not aware of it, but I never thought about it until one of the hostas on the front porch started blooming. Kind of pretty, too, in a hosta kind of way. I am also in the market for a water feature for the front porch. I would need to do a little bit of rearranging, but that should not be too big of a deal. Please feel free to cross your fingers that we get some rain at the Curious House in the next couple days!
