Volume 17 - Day 139/226, 2025 - Monday

Richard and Marge had a series of appointments today, so Richard didn't walk with us. Paul got to the meeting place, and he decided he had too much stuff to do, so he turned around and went home. Today was the first day my neighbor Gina wanted to walk, so we walked together and had a nice walk. I let her know all the gossipy stuff in the various sections of the neighborhood, and we had a good time. After that, I had a nice breakfast, and then it was time to head in to Austin to donate some platelets. On the way, I did make a stop at the post office, to mail a letter. There is just something about the outgoing mail box at the office and the one here at the Curious House that makes me a little bit uncomfortable, so I just drop mail off at the Post Office. Not a big deal, since I really don't have that much outgoing mail. I learned a few things at the blood bank today... While they were taking my pulse, I was told me heart had skipped a beat. I knew nothing of it. Shouldn't I know when my heart skips a beat? The intake lady said it was okay (for them) if they recognized one skipped heart beat, but five in a short time would be a problem. Glad I wasn't a problem. I got home about 2 o'clock, and went down for a nap. It has been cloudy most of the day, but as usual, the san has come out just a few minutes ago. Tomorrow is ROMEO breakfast, and then I will head to the airport to pick up Oliver and Krisa, who went to visit Krisa's niece (I think, or maybe a nephew), in LA. Then on Wednesday it will be Oliver's graduation. This is the second Morning Glory of the season. There was one on Saturday, one yesterday (see photo) and one today. That will be somewhat odd if I only get one a day. Ugh!
