Volume 16 - Day 18/348, 2024 - Thursday

Another relatively excellent day in central Texas, all things considered. It was a top down day, 76 degrees officially in Austin, compared to 14 degrees yesterday. The warm will not be long lived, there is a cold front coming in overnight, and another hard freeze expected Saturday morning. That could possibly mess up the estate sales on Saturday, but probably not. The ROMEOs walked this morning, after having missed two or three or four days, and it was nice to see the guys again. After the walk, there was not too much time to waste, I had an in-person meeting at ABoR at 9:30. I got there with 15 minutes to spare, and it was an excellent meeting, because I made a new friend, her name is Julia. Always nice to make a new friend with shared interests! Then it was off to the office, with two stops on the way. As I was driving down Guadalupe, this little black box was zooming itself down the sidewalk first, then down the bike lane. Not a care in the world, obviously delivering something (maybe pizza), and just minding its' own business. It and I played tag for about two miles, before I went left and the little black box turned right. All was good in the office, got some stuff done, and then it was back to the Curious House. Today was trash and recycle collection day, and it still has not been collected, so I took advantage of that, and kept putting more and more stuff in both bins. Life is good, let's see what tomorrow brings!
