Volume 16 - Day 9/357, 2023 - Tuesday

We are going to have a couple days of seasonal weather, but early next week it is going to get cold...too cold for me anyway. At least one day next week will see temperatures that do not get above freezing. Houses and buildings in central Texas are not really built for this kind of weather, but it is not as bad as it was when I lived in New Orleans. Generally, if we take ordinary care, drip faucets and protect outside pipes, we should be okay. It was a cold walk this morning, and it was not helped by the fact that there were strong winds blowing no matter which way we were walking. After breakfast, it was time for our ROMEO breakfast, and that is always fun. I had an appointment with an appliance repair company, and they got her at about noon. A total waste of time, and there will be another appointment in the next day or so. UGH. After that, I stopped at Home Depot on the way in to the office, and bought thirty hose bib covers, getting ready for the freeze next week at our management properties that are vacant. Tonight will be a good night for tv, a new episode of Finding Your Roots, and then there will be another few episodes of Only Murders in the Building. YAY!
