One day done, one more day of learning and networking, and then I will be home. Today's session was good, informative, interesting, and sometimes entertaining. Lots of good information shared, and more expected tomorrow. It rained like crazy here today, and it was good to see it. I just wish we could get a rain like this closer to the Curious House. Dick and Marge came in from Buffalo Grove and it was great to see them. They walked from the train station (I think about six blocks, I'm not sure) in the rain to the hotel. They got pretty well soaked...they had one umbrella between them, and Richard was worse than Marge. We took an Uber from the Hotel to an Italian restaurant that has been in the same family for 52 years. They both knew members of the family for years, and it was not anything like a restaurant that caters to tourists. We sat at the 'mafia table,' where Don Margie could have her back to the wall and see everyone that walked through the front door. Great fun! We spent two-and-a-half hours laughing and kidding around, and it was the highlight of my visit to Chicago. We all miss them, and look forward to them getting back to Texas in late October.
