Volume 16 - Day 26/340, 2024 - Friday

This week could easily have been nicknamed wreck city, because every day, there were multiple wrecks seen while commuting here and there. The last three or four days have been rainy and/or foggy. Interesting and really fun to experience while we are walking but not too much fun for many folks driving back and forth in it. This morning, I thought the exit I needed to take was blocked because of a wreck, but the exit was open and I avoided a lengthy detour. Speed, damp roads and fog are not something drivers are used to here, but they could just leave five minutes early and make it to their destination on time. Whatever. There were five of us for the walk this morning, and I had a couple errands to run after that, on the way in to the office. The office was quiet, and that was nice. One of our former agents, Clayton, stopped in to visit with us, and that was fun. He relocated to San Antonio, and he is doing very well, and gets to see his son almost every day. Congrats to him! Even though there is nothing on tv, and it is cold and damp, I am going to get this entry done, and then go pile up with the girls. Don't tell them, but they are going to the beautiful parlor tomorrow, after we do the Saturday estate sale tour. It'll be fun, and hopefuly, the sun will make an appearance!
