It is really difficult for me to share how busy and fun and tiring the past weekend was. Mike and I had a great visit, and I took him to the airport this morning, and he back home in Del Rey Beach. I already miss him. I don't think we ever have enough time to visit, but the visits are great. Thursday the Curious House welcomed Vanessa and Phillip (Mike got here on Wednesday), and on Friday, we all went to San Antonio to see the Sting and Billy Joel concert. That concert is in the top three best concerts I have ever been fortunate enough to attend. The other two are Joe Cocker back in the 70s (I think) and Elton John just a few years ago. I got Covid at the Elton John concert, and I would do it all over again. I don't think I have contracted any maladies at the most recent event, but I would likely do that again as well, depending on the malady. Other than our morning walk (me, Paul, Richard and Mike) and my early morning apartment, the day was kind of uneventful. Not too bad for a Monday, though, but there are lots of things I need to do before the end of this month. It was 91 degrees in central Texas today, 13 degrees above average. We are supposed to begin a cool down overnight, and even get a little bit of rain over the next few days. This day is just about over, and I am ready to retire to the big chair with a couple dogs in my lap. The photo accompanying this is Mike, me and Tobetha on Friday.
