Volume 16 - Day 303/63, 2024 - Tuesday

None of us were particularly in the mood to walk this morning, so we didn't. It also seems that we were all in the mood for food, so the ROMEOs all met for breakfast at the Monument Cafe. Me, Paul, Rick and Dick (Richard). Dick and Margie got back from Chicago last Thursday, so this was our first breakfast in about four months, and it was very much fun. I was not particularly in the mood for the Total Stranger Tuesday pic, either, but I got in the mood after surveying the potential victims, so that is the pic included with this journal entry. And...Rick photo bombed it, and that is him in the middle. After breakfast, I got in to the office, got a bunch of work done, and headed home about 1 o'clock so I could be on a 2 o'clock zoom that lasted until 3:30. After the zoom, I went to the AT&T phone store to get a new charging cord for my phone (duh!), but they didn't have one. DUH! So, I thought I would go to Target, but I ended up at Best Buy, which is where I end up a lot. Book Club was tonight at Judy and Bob's, and our October book was The Shining which I did not think was scary at all, but it was supposed to be a scary book for Halloween. Next month, book club is at the Curious House, and we are reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened. It's supposed to be fun and farcical, but we'll see. Before I read that, I will read Bride by a local authorAli Hazelwood. It's about a vampire, and it was recommended to me by a friend at the Blood Bank. Pretty cool, huh?
