At the SEVEN AM (7AM just did not have the same punch) TREPAC breakfast meeting this morning, George P. (Prescott) Bush spoke to our group. As the newly elected Texas Land Commissioner he was an interesting, informed and non-inflammatory speaker. Level, open and out-going, it was interesting to hear him speak about his platforms and particularly about his family. It seems that Barbara is in charge, if there was ever any doubt.The TAR Winter Meetings wrapped up just minutes before noon today. Following the breakfast, it was the TAR Board of Directors meeting, and there was lots of great information shared at that meeting. Then it was back to the office to do some power real estate, and tomorrow will be here before I know it.
